Reward
Across the business, Calor aims to reward employees fairly and equitably through pay, benefits and career development. All three factors are interlinked in a reward package encompassed by the Reward@Work brand.
. Pay - includes annual salary, bonuses and incentive schemes
. Benefits - such as annual leave, Company pension scheme, Company cars, sick pay, childcare vouchers and private medical insurance (BUPA).
. Careers - includes training and development, secondments and promotions
Rewards are practical and flexible to meet the needs of the business in a highly competitive environment. They are also fair and transparent to ensure that employees know what the Company is trying to achieve, how this is being done, and for what purpose.
The Employee Assistance Programme provides a free advisory service for all staff and immediate family on personal issues such as finances, legal advice and health.
As a responsible employer Calor actively encourages saving for retirement. The Company operates a competitive, defined contribution pension scheme with employee contributions matched by the Company to differing levels.
The health and wellbeing of employees is a high priority and therefore employees are eligible to join the Company's private medical insurance scheme. The scheme is intended to give employees peace of mind should they require medical treatment.
Calor recognises that many employees are faced with high child care costs. Therefore, to assist in meeting these financial demands a scheme is offered which allows employees to surrender part of their salary in exchange for childcare vouchers. As the vouchers are exempt from Tax and National Insurance it means that they provide a convenient and much more tax efficient way to meet childcare expenditure.
Calor also operates a voluntary benefits scheme which provides employees and their families with access to great discounts on a wide range of products and services.
