Calor’s new portable heater is the ultimate in
country chic and sophistication. And not only does the
classically designed Provence ooze
style but also radical new innovation.
The Provence is the firstever
gas portable heater with a built in catalytic converter
to eliminate CO² emissions, so it’s great
for the environment too.
Perfect as a focal point in sitting room or snug, the
traditional cast iron-style stove has been specifically
designed to blend in with the ambience of character
cottages and traditional homes, and will bring a touch
of ‘country chic’ to any home.
Powered by a 15kg cylinder of Calor Gas (neatly concealed
inside the heater), which can be delivered directly
to your home and with no outlet flue or plug socket
required, the Provence provides instant
hassle free heat. It also has the added benefit of wheels
allowing for the true warmth of flickering flames wherever
and whenever it is desired*.
Andrea Price, consumer market manager from Calor comments:
“It is widely accepted that people spend more
time living in a mix of maybe two or three rooms in
the home. This mix varies dependent upon lifestyle.
For families it is probably the kitchen and lounge,
for those working from home – a fast growing number
in today’s work place – it is the study
and the kitchen. Whatever the mix, it is often not cost
effective or energy efficient to heat the whole of the
house throughout the day at this time of year.”
“But as a nation we are become increasingly design
focused and don’t want to sacrifice form for function.
Calor has responded to this with the stylish yet practical
Provence, which has been designed with
country chic in mind.”
Perfect as a portable heating source or as a stunning
focal point in any room, the Provence
has a recommended retail price of £399 (RRP),
a heat input of 3kW and will run for approximately 105
hours depending on the setting.
