Calor puts Farmers Markets on the Map

Calor, the UK 's leading provider of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), is helping people across the UK find their local farmers market thanks to a newly launched addition to its website.

Visitors to www.lpg-farming.co.uk/farmers-markets can now see which farmers markets are taking place near to them and when they are taking place. The site lists markets from England , Scotland , Wales and Northern Ireland and details a contact phone number for each market.

Calor has worked closely with the local farming community for many decades and recognises the importance of farmers markets in re-establishing direct links between producers and the local public.

Kate Biggs, Calor's commercial market executive, says the company takes its links with the agricultural market extremely seriously: "As market leader in the supply of LPG, Calor has developed close links with the agricultural community over the past 70 years. The promotion of farmers markets via sites like ours will ensure that money remains in the local community and helps local businesses to prosper."

To add a market to Calor's directory, email the details to: enquiries@lpg-farming.co.uk.
