Calor’s 41 page seminar is designed to provide
RIBA members with comprehensive and essential knowledge
and information about LPG. The seminar is especially
useful for professionals involved with rural housing
developments, which in most instances will require a
non-mains-gas fuel.
As well as explaining key facts about Calor and the
LPG market, the seminar covers where and why LPG is
used and illustrates the benefits of the non-mains-gas
fuel over other alternative fuels, such as oil –
in relation to environmental pollution in particular.
The seminar also provides technical details and essential
advice relating to the facts about LPG, regulations,
types of gas storage options available and siting details.
Information on tank storage options – including
central storage and individual underground tank installations
– tank access, cylinders and telemetry is included.
There are also details of the wide range of LPG appliances
available, including boilers, and some examples of domestic
and commercial installations.
